The image below is part of a video which was created at the University of Luxembourg in the framework of the AI & Art project, part of the European Capital of Culture Esch2022.

We collaborated with the most amazing Daniel Gareev, who used artificial intelligence and machine learning to create a cinematic vision of our song Initiation from within the “mind’s eye” of an AI.

To create this, a machine learning model (StyleGAN2) was trained on thousands of images collected online which depict the conceptual meanings of the song’s lyrics.

As it learned, the AI developed neural models representing these concepts.

The final edit takes the spectators through the multidimensional latent space of the AI’s neural models, traveling across morphing landscapes and newly created artworks.
